One of the best ways to know a great design is when someone sees it and thinks "well, that's obvious — there's no way that's new."

We invented the button-stud watchband in early 2012. The adjustment holes are hidden behind the watch face so it looks custom-fit — but it's fully adjustable, fits any wrist, no measuring required. A lot of people have copied it noticed it.

Available in Horween Chromexcel, Veg Tan, and Latigo in lug widths from 14mm to 26mm. Top-shelf Shell Cordovan also available. For a ready-made combo, see our watch pairings.

What lug width do I pick? The measurement between your watch's lugs where the strap attaches — usually printed on the original band or stamped on the caseback. Most sport and dress watches between 38–42mm run 20mm. When in doubt, measure with calipers; even 1mm off matters.

Will fit:

  • The Seiko 5 you've had since college (probably 20mm)
  • Omega Speedmaster — the one that went to the moon (20mm)
  • Rolex Submariner — Steve McQueen's choice, your choice (20mm)
  • Tudor Black Bay 58 (20mm), Black Bay 41 (22mm)
  • Hamilton Khaki Field — the watch of people with good taste and sensible budgets (20mm)
  • Basically anything with standard springbar lugs between 14 and 26mm

Will NOT fit:

  • Any watch with back sensors — the band sits flush against your wrist and covers them. That means Apple Watch (custom-sized button-stud Apple band or Side-Piece for Apple Watch), Samsung Galaxy (Side-Piece for Galaxy), Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop.
  • Whoop specifically — you're too sweaty for full grain leather anyway, Ironman
  • Cartier Tank — proprietary screws on most references. You can afford a custom strap, call Cartier.
  • Any watch your ex gave you — wait, actually, this'll make it SO different that even your current S.O. won't recognize that it's the one "they" gave you.

If the band gap is extremely tight and won't fit, let us know — we'll make adjustments or refund you.

Engraving & Monogramming

In general, we are subtle with our personalized engravings & monograms. Smaller products receive smaller monograms, and any personalized messages are hidden where the owner can see them but they are not 'out in the open' whenever possible. If you have specific preferences for any customized engravings, make a note in the special instructions section after selecting your options and we'll contact you to verify after your order.

Product Dimensions

Band width as selected. Standard length bands will fit most watches on most wrists up to 8". If you find you need a longer or shorter band, let us know and we'll gladly get you a replacement.

What Kind of Leather Does FFF Use? What's this Chromexcel/Veg Tan/HF stuff instead of just leather color? Where are your products made?

We make everything by hand in Orlando.

As to the leathers we use: The super short answer is Horween Leathers in Chicago, and because we're leather geeks we want you to know exactly what you're getting--it's so much more than just the color of the leather.

You can find more info HERE about how we do things.

You can super-geek about the various leather types/tannages we use in our different products HERE.
